Lake Martin houses that simply work.

Ulo Pro designs and installs the technology in high-end homes on Lake Martin, and then keeps it running. A Lake Martin house is often full on the weekend and empty on Tuesday, and its owner is usually somewhere else during the week. The network, the audio, the lighting and the cameras have to look after themselves in between, and someone has to be watching when they do not.

What a Lake Martin house needs

The network, whatever feeds it

Some coves on Lake Martin have fiber now and some still do not. The job is the same either way: a wired backbone and Wi-Fi that reach the dock, the boathouse and the guest house. Where the wired service stops, Starlink, mounted where it has clear sky and made part of the house network.

Audio-video and home theater

Music on the porch and down at the water, a theater that stays simple, televisions that come on with one button. Set up so guests can run it without a lesson.

Lighting control and automation

Scenes for dinner on the porch and for arriving late on a Friday. Shades, thermostats and locks on the same system, so there is one app, not seven.

Security and cameras

Cameras on the water side and the road side, door locks and an alarm you can check from wherever you are during the week.

Turnkey care, ongoing

Remote monitoring, a person who already knows the house, and a number that gets answered. A problem in the middle of the week shows up on a screen in Birmingham before the family arrives on Friday. This is the specialty.

Building or renovating on Lake Martin

The time to plan the network, the speakers and the lighting is while the walls are open. Builders, architects and interior designers are welcome to send plans at any stage.

Ulo Pro is owner-operated. The person who walks the house and writes the proposal is the person on the ladder, and the same person answers the phone afterward.

Where we work
